Cabinet
The Aston Hydronic unit cabinet is fabricated from heavy gauge steel with a durable metallic finish for long lasting beauty and protection. Control panels that can be placed on either end allow piping to be located on the front or at the back and improve serviceability.
Controls
Powerful Aurora controls offer two-way communication between components, industry-leading operating logic, and thorough troubleshooting capabilities. Optional upgrades add true energy and refrigeration monitoring capabilities and more.
Insulated Coaxial Heat Exchanger
Aston Single Hydronic heat exchangers are coated with our exclusive ThermaShield foam insulation. ThemaShield increases both efficiency and consistency of the heat exchangers while robotic application ensures an even airtight seal.
Compressor
High efficiency scroll compressors are used to reduce operating costs and provide years of reliable operation. Sound attenuating compressor blankets and double isolation mounting plates are used in every unit for quiet operation.
Hot Water Assist
Larger Aston Single Hydronic units can include a hot water assist function to provide supplemental heating of domestic water while simultaneously proving space heating (depending on the application).
R-410A
All GeoStar units use R-410A - an environmentally friendly, non-ozone-depleting refrigerant that enhances efficiency and savings.
